Steph calls me by 11pm to say she is really sick and she needs to see me.... i knew my friend was just plain lonely and just wanted me to come over. i wasn't doing anything so i decide to go to her house, plus her house aint far from mine.
Strolling down and reading messages on my phone(bad habit by the way *winks*) i saw through the corner of my eye a black colored Venza ride drive past me and do a quick U-turn, i shook my head in distaste at the kind of driving still exhibited by Abuja people... rubbish i say in disgust.but... the car pulls up right beside me and the side window rolls down, its the voice and the humor under it that gets my attention( hm mm am a sucker for humor o) i say to myself 'please keep walking , you don't need to stop' but as i take 3 steps forward the car slowly moves with me, i move, he moves until i stop at last and bend to take a look at the annoying driver of this fine Ride. he is tall and chocolatey in complexion, has this mischievous smile that says ""player beware" i smile back
''hey can i drop you off he says'' and smiles that lazy smile again..( ehen that's when i knew i was gonna like this one) Nope i say and stroll off, he moves again and keeps on talking, telling me reasons why he should drop me. finally i agree and he takes me in his car to my destination. on our way there we really didn't speak much to each other. just smiles and a word here and there . after a while he brings out his complimentary card and hands to me.
i get down from the car when we arrive Stephie's place, he just smiles and says to me.. the name is CRUX......to be continued
